BIO
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA, Joe Lyle began playing drums on whatever he could find with whatever he could find. At the age of 4, he began pursuing music on a multitude of instruments in school and private lessons. His teachers quickly recognized his natural talent and helped him to develop a unique and diverse sound. At the request of his mentor, Troy Davis, he applied for Berklee College of Music to further his understanding of his craft. After studying with drumming greats, Ralph Peterson and Neal Smith, he moved to New Orleans to further his studies. In under a year he managed to attract the attention of a diverse group of musical greats such as GIVERS, and Solange Knowles. He has been on the road working with Jared Mattson of the MATTSON 2, TANUKICHAN, and Zambian rock legends, W.I.T.C.H.

Thundercat, Arlo Parks, Wilco, and and Death Cab for Cutie are just a few artists ive been fortunate enough to have worked with. My first goal in building this business was to connect touring artists with artists in the city in hopes of exanding the reach of New Orleans music around the world
